It doesn’t take a first party developed app to become one of the most widely downloaded app in the App Store. Yet another milestone is about to be accomplished by one of the App Store’s most successful games; Doodle Jump – which is looking to be the first to sell one million copies in a single month. Igor Pusenjak, president and founder of Lima Sky (the company behind Doodle Jump), stated in an email that “After announcing 1 million downloads of Doodle Jump on December 18th, we are now looking to cross the 2 million mark before the end of January.” Already making its way as the sixth highest grossing app in the App Store, Doodle Jump has summed up approximately $1.28 million in sales after everything is said and done. This game may not boast some eye candy graphics, but its addictive game play is what makes it so popular.
Mint Mobile is now allowing you to get whichever plan you like for either three, six, or 12 months for just $15/mo. If you go for the six-month unlimited service, for instance, you'll now have to pay just $90 upfront instead of $210.
