Deal: get an open-box Pebble Time Round at a price of just $89.99
If you’ve been holding off the purchase of a Pebble Time Round until you find a good deal on the smartwatch, then hear this: you can get your hands on a Pebble Time Round for just $89.99.

Over at Woot, the Pebble Time Round is available at a price of $89.99. The deal is good for an open box item, meaning that the watch may not come in its original packaging and that some non-essential items may be missing. However, as the Pebble Time Round is usually priced at $199.99, caveats were to be expected at this price.

In case you need a refresher, the Pebble Time Round comes with a 1-inch Color ePaper display running at 180 by 180 pixels in a rounded form factor. The case, which is made out of marine-grade stainless steel, measures 38.5mm in diameter and has a thickness of only 7.5mm. The included leather bands can be swapped for any standard 14mm band of your liking. The entire watch (with the standard band) tips the scales at just 28 grams.

The Time Round is not waterproof. Instead, it carries an IPX7 ‘Splashproof’ rating, which means that washing dishes with the Round on is acceptable, but swimming isn’t.

The Time Round runs on the latest version (4.0) of Pebble OS, meaning that it comes with features such as the Timeline OS, step tracking integration with Misfit, as well as silent vibrating alarms.

Unfortunately, it should be mentioned that the Pebble Time Round doesn't have the same week-long battery life as the company's other watches. The small 28mAh battery inside only lasts for about a couple of days. On the other hand, a 15-minute charge is all that the Round needs to last throughout an entire day.

The Pebble Time Round can be paired with any Android phone running Android 4.3 or newer or with any iOS running iOS 8 or newer.

If you want to learn more about the Pebble Time Round before committing to a purchase, we’ve got you covered!

What do you guys think of this deal? Is $89.99 a good price for the Pebble Time Round?
