Deal alert: LG G Pad 8.3 goes to $225, cheaper than a Nexus 7

The $330 LG G Pad 8.3 just went to $225 on Newegg, which puts the excellent 8-incher just under Google Nexus 7's $230 price. To take advantage, go to Newegg's promo tablet offer in the source link below, which has the slate at $250 in black or white, then put in the coupon code EMCPHHC28, for a 10% further price reduction, plus free shipping.

As a reminder, the G Pad 8.3 is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 chip, 2 GB of RAM, and has an 8.3" IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1200 pixels of resolution. The 4,600 mAh is good for over 7 hours of web browsing, or up to 10 hours of video playback on a charge.

Moreover, it is slimmer than the Nexus 7, with premium metal back, and offers a microSD slot for storage expansion. Check out the deal from the source link below, if you are interested - the deal runs until midnight Pacific Time on Monday, or while supplies last.
