The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.

If you're in the market for a new smartphone with a large display but low price, the ZTE ZMAX 2 can be hand for just $50. It's one of the cheapest handsets we've seen, and while the specs aren't much to write home about, one can hardly complain at such a price point.

Released almost a year ago to the day, the ZMAX 2 includes a 5.5-inch, 720 x 1280 display, 16 GB of expandable storage and 4G LTE support. The processor is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 410 and there's also 2 gigs of RAM, while 5 and 8-megapixel cameras can be found to the front and rear of the handset respectively. There's also a 3000 mAh battery which we imagine, given the specs, keeps the ZMAX 2 running for a decent length of time.

This deal is provided by Best Buy through AT&T's GoPhone prepaid network, and sees the usual $99 price slashed in half. It's probably not up to being a daily runner for the most part, but with Android 5.1 Lollipop on board, could make for a very, very cheap backup handset when your daily driver goes MIA.

To snap up this discounted handset, head over to Best Buy at the source.
