Custom ROM brings Ice Cream Sandwich to the T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide
Great news for those T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide owners out there who happen to love tinkering with their smartphone, well, that’s because they now have the ability to enjoy Ice Cream Sandwich thanks to a new custom ROM.

Specifically, the team over at xda-developers managed to come through in delivering handset owners one juicy surprise – though, some owners might still hold off and wait for an official release. Nevertheless, if you simply can no longer wait, the custom ROM brings ICS to the camera-centric Android powered smartphone. However, seeing that this is a custom ROM, not everything is working perfectly at 100 percent at the moment.

Of course, there are some bugs to be worked out with this custom ROM, but overall, it should prove to be stable enough to enjoy. So far, the items that aren’t working include the camera, FM Radio, accelerometer, keyboard light, USB storage, tethering, and notification LED.

Yes, that list might prove to be too much for some people, but again, it brings ICS to the handset right now. If you can somehow live without those items in the meantime, then you’ll undeniably appreciate showing off ICS to your jealous friends.
