Cricket launches their own branded GPS app

Cricket's customers can now take part in the carrier's latest GPS solution with Cricket Navigator which is their premium voice guided turn-by-turn navigational service. The application will first be made available on the Samsung MyShot II and will be rolled to other handset within the following weeks – it's expected that a good majority of handsets to get it by the end of the summer. Cricket Navigator offers all of the common conveniences we see on other similar location based applications such as local search, voice guided directions, lowest gas prices, and traffic avoidance. Luckily, Cricket Navigator will be offered in their new nationwide $50 and $60 plans – plus it'll be available as a bolt-on to the new nationwide $30 and $40 plans.
