Cingular Wireless launches the SCREEN3-enabled Motorola V557
Cingular Wireless is the first operator to launch a SCREEN3-enabled handset – Motorola V557. SCREEN3 is a new technology, which gives users the opportunity to get news, sports, entertainment, etc. on the phone idle screen without pushing buttons or launching browsers. The main features of the clamshell, quad-band GSM phone are:
- 262k TFT main display
- built-in VGA (640x480) camera with video capture
- Bluetooth
- GPRS/EDGE high-speed data
- built-in Speakerphone
The Motorola V557 is offered for as low as $99.99 after a rebate with two-year contract.
