Granted, iFixit just tore the Galaxy S9 apart, and found it hard to repair because of the copious amounts of adhesive holding it all together, but if you have been wondering what's behind that metallic nanocoating on the S9's glass back, wonder no more. The big guy - that would be Zack Nelson from JerryRigEverything - likes peeling things, apart from torching, bending and scratching them.
That love of peel has brought him to one of the most wonderful mods you can have ever since Samsung introduced its Infinity Display design one spring ago. The coating that gives away those irridescent colors can be taken off with some scraping and peeling (once you remove the rear panel, that is), and a fully transparrent, clear back that fits perfectly on the S9 will remain, for all the passers-by to marvel at, check it out, and, please, don't try this at home.
