To write about smartphones every single day of the week, you have to have a deep passion and love for these devices. And every so often something new is unveiled that simply takes your breath away, and fills you with a strong desire to own it. That is how we felt this morning when the 6.4-inch Xiaomi Mi MIX was announced alongside the Xiaomi Mi Note 2.

The 6.4-inch 1080 x 1920 screen offers a 361ppi pixel density, and over 91% of the front is comprised of the screen. Xiaomi has really come up with a tremendous looking phone that is guaranteed to make heads turn. We are instantly jealous of anyone who will be holding this phablet in his/her hand.

Xiaomi has released a 60-second commercial for the phone (English subtitles are included). The video calls the device a full screen concept phone, and it will launch in China on November 4th. The base model comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of flash memory, priced at the equivalent of $517 USD. The "Pro" model is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This version will cost the equivalent of $590 USD.
