Check out the first Samsung Galaxy Note 9 camera samples

Rest assured we are working hard on our Galaxy Note 9 review, which should be just around the corner.

Yet, as we are always striving to satiate your hunger for knowledge and insight into the cutting edge of mobile technology, we thought we'd let you take a glimpse at our first camera samples taken with the monstrous phablet.

As a refresher, the Note 9 flaunts a wide-angle 12-megapixel main shooter with variable aperture camera that shoots at f/2.4 when you have good light, but opens wide to f/1.5 in low-light conditions to capture as much light as possible; the secondary camera is a 2x telephoto one. Both are stabilized, ensuring you get blur-free pictures almost all of the time. AI plays pretty big part of the whole shebang - Samsung has thrown in improved scene recognition that is capable of intelligently identifying  and improving over 20 different types of scenes and shooting scenarios.3

Take a gander at nearly 20 camera samples from the Galaxy Note 9, which should give you a pretty good insight as to what the hot new phablet is capable of in the imaging department. You'll see a bunch of portrait and night-time shots included in the mix.

We'd reserve our judgement of the picture quality for the final review, but suffice to say we like what we're seeing!
