Bluboo's blowout anniversary sale offers free gifts with the S3 battery life champ

Advertorial by Bluboo: the opinions expressed in this story may not reflect the positions of PhoneArena!

To celebrate the cusp of its 12th year anniversary, Bluboo is holding a blowout sale for some of its most specc'd-out phones, including the S3 with its giant 8500 mAh battery. Not only is the handset an endurance champ you can actually power other electronics off of, but it also offers fast charging out of the box, so that topping up the enormous battery pack doesn't take forever.

The phone is rocking the trendy tall and narrow design with minimum amount of bezels around its 6" 9:18 display. Powered by an octa-core chipset, and equipped with a 4GB RAM/64GB storage combo in the basic version, the S3 walks the walk when it comes to the important value-for-money ratio. A dual Samsung camera with 21 MP main sensor and a 5 MP adjunct one at the back, round up the good offering. Needless to say, there is a fingerpint scanner on the back, and all of that jazz can be yours for $149.99. For a limited time, the anniversary festivities also includes $50 worth of free gifts, too.

Next in line at Bluboo's 12-years-of-existence promo, comes the lowly S1, which will go for $129.99, starting today. It offers a 5.5" 1080p display, and that's not the only thing it borrows from Sharp, as the S1 is a throwback to the EDGEST design of the Japanese, with top bezel as thin as the sides, and only a chin with a fingerprint scanner in it to ruin the frameless symmetry. It also has a dual camera, but this time with a 16 MP main sensor, and a decent 3500mAh battery with fast charging.

Last but not least in Bluboo's spring blowout come the S8 and S8+, which come with 5.7" and 6" displays, respectively, dual cameras and large batteries. The only ho-hum specs combo belongs to the S8, which sports "just" 3GB RAM and 32 GB storage, but you can't ask for much more at its $119.99 tag. The S8+ will run you $129.99, but it doubles the storage amount as a worthy upgrade. Irrelevant to the article, but am I the only one who noticed they ripped off all their wallpapers from other brands (like from Xperia, Galaxy, Huawei). Not to mention name and design as well...

That S1 copy MiMix design and wallpaper. They don't want to waste time for designing and making wallpaper, and they also don't want to waste time to provide security or android version update.

Well you do realize at those prices there's no money to pay software developers to put together bug free updates, right? You're not buying a $800 iPhone, Pixel, or Galaxy S here... You can't expect a company who makes very little relatively on the handset to provide long term support like the big name manufacturers.

I was just about to start Googleing for the specs to see if any of them had US LTE bands. Thanks for saving me the time.

If I see that generic camera app it's an instant no buy. No optimizations and some sketchy aosp software.

If it doesn't work on US GSM carriers can't buy.

The question is why is Bluboo content with making less than $50 profit per handset? Doesn't make good business sense...

Well, they're still around for now, sounds like it's working for them.
