Remember the old (and now defunct) BlackBerry Beta Zone? This is where BlackBerry users in the pre-Android days would go to find beta versions of apps for the BlackBerry OS. The BlackBerry Beta Zone is no more, but the company is seeking those interested in using BlackBerry software on BlackBerry or Android handsets. These beta testers will be providing BlackBerry with feedback to "influence the product development process based on their experience and real-world use."

The apps that BlackBerry is offering beta versions of through its new beta program are related to its Hub+ Suite found on the Google Play Store. The suite includes:

  • BlackBerry Hub
  • BlackBerry Calendar
  • BlackBerry Password Keeper
  • Contacts by BlackBerry
  • BlackBerry Device Search
  • Notes by BlackBerry
  • Tasks by BlackBerry
  • BlackBerry Launcher
  • BlackBerry Privacy Shade
While BlackBerry is sending out invitations to join the program, you can also submit an invitation yourself by clicking on the sourcelink found directly below.
