BlackBerry Bold 9800 Slider confirmed to not offer SurePress?
At this point, we've been treated to a ton of BlackBerry Bold 9800 Slider photos to provide us a decent amount of insights to know exactly what to expect with it. From angled shots to a preview of BlackBerry OS 6.0, we've seen almost every inch of this handset, but still there was this underlying thought that it could not be packing a touchscreen. However, there was a leaked image of the handset showing off its on-screen QWERTY keyboard which leaves us now with little doubt that it'll be following in the same footsteps of the two Storm handsets released by RIM. What's interesting to point out this time around is that it's been confirmed to not feature the SurePress technology found on the Storm – so it looks like it'll be just like your ordinary capacitive touchscreen which could make it easier on some people. RIM has surely been improving SurePress as we've witnessed on the BlackBerry Storm2 9550, but it would seem apparent that the Bold 9800 Slider will not follow the same path and opt for a traditional route.
