5 of the best cases for the Sony Xperia XZ2 available right now
So, got yourself a splashy new Sony Xperia XZ2? Well, maybe not yet, but one of the first things you should do once you get your new device is invest in some high-quality protection that will prevent your device in pristine condition. And rightly so - the predominantly glass design of the phone is normally quite prone to crackling should you accidentally let the device slip off of your hands.

With that in mind, it's time to show you all the best cases available for the Xperia XZ2 right now. Surely, more will pop up once the devices actually hit the shelves, but there are still more than enough great offerings available even now.

Official Sony Xperia XZ2 Style Cover Stand Case

Price: $46.99
Get it here: Black, Green, Grey, Pink

Nothing's better than stock, and the standing case for the Xperia XZ2 is the perfect example of a multi-functional case that will not only protect what's dear but also allow for easier positioning of the device when it's time for binge-watching. The case is available in black, grey, and green.

Official Sony Xperia XZ2 Style Cover Touch Case

Price $52.99
Get it here: Black, Green, Grey, Pink

This is a full-body case that will shield your phone from every angle imaginable. While it might not be the most beautiful case out there, it's the necessary 'evil' that will keep your phone in one piece. The case features a fully transparent front that allows you to interact with the device without any hindrance.

Roxfit Sony Xperia XZ2 Slim Hard Shell

Price: $21.49

The slim fitting and sturdy design make this case a worthy pick for your device. It fits snuggly and beautifully complements the looks of the device itself. What's more, this case features a raised lip that will protect the display from scratches when placed faced down on a flat surface. Oh, and the price is pretty sweet, too.

Krusell Sunne 2 Card Sony Xperia XZ2 Folio Wallet Case

Price: $35.49
Get it here: Black, Cognac

Wallet cases are definitely among the popular case categories due to the sheer practicality that they allow for - instead of hauling a phone and a wallet, this one allows you to bundle your smartphone with a card of your choice and a bit of a cash. The vintage black faux leather and the overall chic appearance of the Krusell cases matches pretty well with the overall aesthetics of the XZ2. Overall, a great case.

Olixar ExoShield Tough Snap-On Case

Olixar's tough snap-on case for the Xperia XZ2 is a great fit for those who are feeling insecure and an additional level of extra protection for their devices. With the corner protection that the case offers, users wouldn't have to worry much for damage that those nasty corner falls can induce on their handset.

I sincerely hope nobody will buy this phone and Sony will ditch this incredibly ugly design and bring back headphone jack. I know it won't happen but one can dream, XZ1C here I come!

DOA. Thick, heavy, bulky $hit. Sorry, but my XZP looks gorgeous according to this junk. FPS on the most inconvenient placement and uncomfortable spot.

I have a XZ and i also would get the XZ1 over the XZ2.... I have a Noise Cancelling headphone from them that I won't be able to use if I upgrade to their latest, and the design is not appealing in my opinion.... I don't mind the bezels but I do wish i could get 6gb of ram with the XZ1.... This might be my last Sony... We'll see

This is not a problem for most. Sony provides an adapter in the box that allows you to plug in your headphones. Just plug the headphones into the adapter and leave it there.

I bought the phone and it is the best phone I ever had; The screen is top notch, the processor blazing fast, the camera great (I don't trust myself about it, but the GSMArena comparison between the XZ2 and the S9 as well as the results of a German website notebookcheck.com, who seem to have a very thorough reviewing process). But absolutely best feature is the huge battery life. After three weeks of using it, I never went to bed with less than 30% battery and I am a power user. I was also not a fan of the design originally, I still prefer a bit the older Loop Surface Design, but it has grown on me and it doesn't look so dated next to an S9. I opted for the second case, which is indeed not the greatest looking one, but it is the thinner of the two Sony ones. This is important because the telephone is already thck enough in its own.

Can you put it on the table on its back? How is spinning? clock wise or counter clock wise. I hope you catch the irony. Most uncomfortable and ugly design SONY ever done! After XZ2P...

I love this phone, it has a spectacular and unique design, the best screen that my eyes have seen, the crapmoleds seem low range to the side, a camera and spectacular autonomy and a performance Unbeatable

You are entitled to your opinion, but can you stop with the "crapmoled" nonsense on every post? I generally like Sony also, but Samsung objectively makes the best screens, whether you wanna admit it to yourself or not. What are you gonna say when Sony dumps IPS for the new Japan Display OLEDs that should be coming soon?

So many crappy cases! Yet no powercases nor smartcase!
