Best Buy is now selling the 128GB iPad Mini 3 starting at $299.99

Best Buy currently has a pretty good deal on the 128GB versions of the iPad mini 3. The Wi-Fi-only versions of the iPad mini 3 can now be had at $299.99, while the cellular variants will set you back $429.99.

While Amazon has a similar deal on the cellular variants, $299.99 is the lowest price that we could find on the 128GB iPad mini 3 (excluding refurbished products).

Sure, this is not the latest iPad mini 4, but the third-gen iPad Mini is still a pretty well-rounded tablet that offers high performance, a crisp display, as well as a premium and compact build.

The hardware specs include a 7.9-inch display with a resolution of 1536 by 2048 pixels (324PPI), an Apple A7 chipset with a 1.3GHz dual-core CPU and a PowerVR G6430 GPU, 1GB of RAM, a 5MP primary camera, and a 1.2MP selfie shooter on the front. These are the same hardware specs as the second-gen iPad Mini, the only difference being the inclusion of a Touch ID fingerprint sensor in the third-gen model.

The Apple iPad Mini 3 launched back in October 2014 with iOS 8.1 on board, but the slab can be updated to iOS 9.2, the most recent version of Apple's mobile operating system.

Best Buy says that the deal will end on Monday, but you'll probably want to jump right in if you want to order a tablet online, as supplies are limited. Even if you don't get to place an online purchase, you should try your luck by heading over to a physical Best Buy store near you (yep, physical stores still exist).

If I didn't have an IPad Mini 2, it would look like an attractive deal, but with identical specs to the 3rd version, I'll pass.

This is the first time I've ever seen an Apple product being reasonable value for money.

Meh, still an overpriced toy like every ARM tablet, I'd rather get the Dell Venue 8 Pro for that price.

But this toy is offered in 128gb storage at a reasonable price. And at that price range. Surely, there will be a lot of people who are gonna get this.
