Deal: Pay just $299 for the Pixel 3a and $379 for the Pixel 3a XL at Best Buy (Sprint only)

Deal: Pay just $299 for the Pixel 3a and $379 for the Pixel 3a XL at Best Buy (Sprint only)
Google hit a grand slam with its mid-range Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. After all, for $399 and $479 respectively, one can buy one of the best (if not the best) cameras found on a smartphone. A lot of that has to do with Google's image processing, which gets amazing results from a single rear-facing 12.2MP camera. Now, Best Buy has a deal on the Pixel 3a that takes the price down to $299, a 25% price cut. Besides the $100 discount, those buying the phone will also get a free Google Home Mini smart speaker (a $49 value).

Here's the important thing to remember; the deal is only valid if the phone is activated on Sprint. The discount is upfront, which means no monthly bill credits here, folks. And the Pixel 3a XL also is $100 off at $379 (a 21% discount) with the same caveat; the phone must be activated on Sprint. Now we do need to point out that the carrier does charge a $30 activation fee, which will cut into your discount a little, but this is still a great deal for new and existing Sprint customers.

The Pixel 3a features a 5.6-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2220 and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The Snapdragon 670 chipset powers the phone, which features 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage. A 3000mAh battery keeps the lights on and Android 9 Pie is pre-installed. The Pixel 3a XL has a larger 6-inch display with a 1080 x 2160 resolution for an 18:9 aspect ratio. The only other difference is the larger 3700mAh battery found inside the device. As for the colors available, both models can be purchased in your favorite color as long as your favorite color is Just Black.

The Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL both have a plastic build and no IP rating. But they do come with stock Android and get first crack at software updates just like any other Pixel model. In fact, the pair will receive Android Q, R, and S, and don't forget that users get free unlimited storage of photos in high quality.

Moto Z4 is better

Moto Z4 could be better, but it's hindered by a lack of commitment to updates from Motorola and Lenovo.

Nothing a custom ROM couldn't fix. Motorola will most likely allow the bootloader to be unlocked, I wouldn't see why not

Verizon doesn't allow bootloader to be unlocked and custom ROMs is a copout excuse. Not everyone is tech savvy enough to go the ROM route. Plus you are speaking as if it's a sure thing. I stand by with what I said before.

You don't even know what he's talking about lol. You're only "agreeing" just because it went against what I said.

thefantasticspastic...Having played around with the Moto Z4 that a relative of mine owns and comparing it to my Pixel 3A XL, I agree with you for the most part.

Of course you obviously will have the usual tripe from the alpha of geeks. I don't need to make up a false narrative with a kin just to ride the bandwagon.

Nothing like dropping the bait knowing you’ll always go for it, proving the old adage that there is one (sucker) born every minute lmao.

Nothing like backtracking after getting called out. You would know all about being a sucker considering your actions here in a Pixel article.

The fact that you’re trying to deflect from the fact that you took the bait, proving that old adage to be true, is highly amusing considering your actions on HMD where you attack the N9PV every chance you get lmao. You truly know what it is to be a sucker.

Lmao so me agreeing with you thefantasticspastic clearly has someone upset like mxyzptlk always is when he’s sent back to the 5th dimension. They clearly can’t talk about false anything when they don’t even own what they say they do, and always change the facts to suit their false narrative.

As you can plainly see, some people are so upset that they resort to projecting with their false narrative. They are upset because they were exposed on having multiple accounts. The Doc of devices will deny the existence of said accounts as usual.

As you can plainly see, some people are so triggered by my comments that they resort to changing the facts to suit their false narrative. They are upset because they were exposed multiple times by multiple people for having multiple accounts. Mxyzptlk will deny in a Flash the multiple accounts he has.

As you can see, some people are so wrapped up in their ridiculously false narrative that they lose sight of the truth. They are mad because they were exposed to having aliases in order to give himself a thumbs up but watch how jp deny it faster than a flash of lightning.

As you can plainly see, some people here are totally describing themselves and their multiple accounts, most of which are now banned because of me.

As you can see, the guilty one always falls back on conjectures and projecting after they've been called out. They know that they are guilty of having multiple accounts.

Easily the best phone ever. It's unfortunate that this deal is limited to Sprint only, but you are still getting the best phone ever with the best camera of any phone available.

Sprint? No thanks. I doubt the very best smartphone ever (whatever that is) could make join Sprint again, but the Pixel 3A XL certainly isn’t it. And there are smartphones out there with better cameras than the Pixel line (even though Pixels have good cameras, their saving grace) that are not on Sprint (thankfully).

The Pixel 3A XL is the best phone ever with the best camera of any phone. That is a verifiable fact that some people choose to remain oblivious to just because they are having esteem issues with their own device. That being said, sprint is a terrible carrier, but the best thing about the Pixel 3A is that it is unlocked for ALL carriers, so you don't have to stick with Sprint after the return period.

The Pixel 3A XL is a decent enough smartphone, but definitely not the best ever, and it doesn’t have the best camera on any smartphone. For example, reviews have it falling short in the video department, and it’s a verifiable fact that the Pixel camera has been beaten, but some people choose to remain in denial because they are having esteem issues over choosing this device. Sprint is a horrible carrier, and being unlocked for all carriers doesn’t change the fact that this deal is on the worst carrier with the far-from-best-phone-ever.

Some people are so threatened by what others think because they have esteem issues with their own device. The Pixel 3A XL is the best phone ever and that is an opinion shared by many others especially on YouTube. Some people choose to remain oblivious to it just because their device was DoA. I already acknowledged that the carrier choice here is bad, but you don't have to stick with Sprint after the return period. That's what I said before but some people apparently didn't get the message because they were too busy trying to justify their own device.

Some people are so threatened by others opinions because they have esteem issues on their own devices. The Pixel 3A XL is a decent enough smartphone, as I’ve said before, but it definitely isn’t the best phone ever and I highly doubt that credible individuals are saying that. Some people remain oblivious to this fact, as well as the fact that because of so many documented issues the Pixel line has, it could never be counted as the best ever. I already let my feelings be known about Sprints terrible network, but some people still don’t realize that having to deal with this network for any amount of time, no matter how short, isn’t worth getting this device. Some people apparently don’t understand this, because they are too busy trying to justify their own device to themselves and others by constantly claiming it’s the best phone ever, when it isn’t remotely close to that.

Lol @ the level of salt evident in some people's responses. Just because I said something about the Pixel 3A XL being the best phone ever. It's called my opinion and it's not going to impact them in any way if I called it the best phone ever. The whole documented issues thing is so overblown. Again, that's an opinion that may or may not be shared by someone else. Just because Sprint may be terrible for them to not get the Pixel 3A XL doesn't mean that it will be the same for someone else. They are not the one all be all.
