The BenQ-Siemens E71 is a slim handset featuring smooth curved design. Its glossy surface is protected against fingertips with non-stick coating. The device features a MP3 player, integrated FM radio, EDGE support, 262k color 240x320 pixel display, a 1.3 megapixel camera, also capable of recording videos in mpeg4 format. The phone's memory can be extended via microSD cards. The handset will be available in Dark Silver and Onyx Black color versions.
The BenQ-Siemens E81 is a slim, light-weight handset with UMTS (European). The 3G device is equipped with a 1.8-inch 262k color display, a media-player for music and video, and also a dedicated music key. The phone has video calling capabilities, a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash, microSD slot for expanding the memory, and USB support. E81 will be launched in the so called Lucent Black color.
Both the E71 and E81 will be available in Europe from September 2006, and in Asia from November and October 2006 respectively.
The SL91 is a 3G handset with slider design and UMTS support. The device's smooth surface hides Force Sensitive Resistor technology which reacts to slight pressure and discreet acoustic signal indicates when key-press action is initiated. There is a hidden VGA camera for video calling, placed on the keypad so it's seen only when the phone is opened. The handset features a 2-inch QVGA 16.7 million color display, a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, MP3 player and a stereo RDS FM radio, microSD card slot and a stereo headset included in the package.
