BLU Studio C now available in the US as one of the cheapest Android Lollipop phones to date
BLU this week started selling a new and affordable Android 5.0 Lollipop smartphone called BLU Studio C. Introduced as the successor to last year's BLU Studio 5.0 C, the new handset is one of the cheapest Lollipop devices that you can currently buy in the US, costing just $99.99.

You can get the BLU Studio C from Amazon, unlocked, in five different color versions: grey, white, green, pink, and orange. The new smartphone sports a 5-inch 720p display, and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MTK6582 processor. It's also got dual SIM support, 1 GB of RAM, an 8 MP rear camera, 2 MP front-facing camera, and 8 GB of expandable storage space.

The BLU Studio C measures 144 x 72.4 x 9.4 mm, weighs 172 grams, and includes a non-removable 3000 mAh battery. While it doesn't have LTE connectivity, the handset offers HSDPA, being compatible with any GSM network in the US, including AT&T and T-Mobile.

All in all, the BLU Studio C could be a great choice for first time smartphone users, or just as a back-up handset. Interested?
