Asphalt 9: Legends already soft-launched on iOS, Android version coming soon
Fans of car racing mobile games rejoice, as Gameloft almost finished working on the next title in the Asphalt series. The game is dubbed Asphalt 9: Legends and is already available for download on iOS.

Gameloft promises to offer players “a console experience” with detailed real cars, HDR techniques and stunning visuals, as well as particle effects that make the game look almost real. Once again, an Asphalt game allows players the option to collect more than 50 of the world's most iconic roadsters.

Moreover, the game comes with a new car editor to allow players to paint their cars and choose the materials they think will define their cars. Asphalt 9: Legends features a Career mode with over 60 seasons and 800 races available to players.

And, finally, Gameloft's new Asphalt game features a new control scheme called TOUCH DRIVE, which is basically an auto mode. However, players will be able to switch to manual controls if they feel the game is too easy.

Although the game is available for free in the App Store, it's only live in the Philippines. Also, an Android version of Asphalt 9: Legends will be released in the Google Play Store as well.

They better make a VR version like Need for Speed VR. Which even on mobile is pretty cool.

Why? Mobile VR is big flop which no-one cares, why devs should waste time for that? Your need for speed has 5000 - 10 000 downloads in Play Store, which is nothing and just shows that no-one cares.

It's not a flop. Especially when a VR app if written well, literally blows away any 2D/3D mobile game app gameplay. If anyone has actually tried any mobile VR apps, then they would all tell you that the VR experience is better than any 2D/3D experience. There is no comparison. It's literally like trying to compare Apples to Oranges.

You realize that your third sentence is LITERALLY a contraction of you last sentence, right? Such a glaring oversight... and you expect people to take you seriously?

it's a big flop, no-one want to pay anything for those VR gears, That's why Samsung have to give them free so they can get rid of those. Last christmas we tried mobile VR, it was nice for 5 minutes and then after that no-one used it anymore, luckily no-one didn't pay anything for it. That's what 99% VR users does, try it once and then sell those online to the next victim.

so i guess that need for speed wasn't written well because in one year it only got under 10 000 downloads? but you just said it's so good :D

Yeah right.

Quite possibly one of the corniest arguments in all of mankind’s history. iPhone users will never see it the Android users do and vice versa. Let’s just all agree to disagree.

GTA 4 and 5 comes to iPad Pro late 2020 ;) Just consider the space the game would need on an iOS device - 70GB is GTA V?

won't be surprised if GTA iv shows up ending of this year(it should be its 10th year anniversary) and devs like grid autosport ones have proven you can port these games to mobile if u focus on high end devices
