Apple iPhone Lite high-res images leak out

Apple iPhone Lite high-res images leak out
The Apple iPhone Lite, aka the affordable iPhone we’ve been hearing about so much, has leaked out once again and while nothing new these images provide a much clearer view of it so it’s easier to see all the details about the supposed colorful new device.

Once again, the iPhone Lite leaks out in five colors: green, pink, baby blue, white and yellow. It’s all plastic as we’ve seen before. The dimensions are also the same - it’s slightly chubbier than the iPhone 5, but the screen should be of the same 4-inch size and Retina resolution.

Can we guarantee the authenticity of these images? With so much smoke, there’s got to be a fire, they say, and all leaks are consistent about the iPhone Lite, but since we are talking about Apple we would rather wait for an official unveiling.

While I would love to have an iPhone, it would not be this one. It looks so cheap and reminds me of my plastic tracfone... Ugh, Apple plz make the design look a little, I dunno, like an Apple product! P.S. I

There have been manufactures that build aftermarket back for iPhones since the iPhone 4, how do we know that this isn't just some manufacture building an aftermarket back for the iPhone 5/5s? Maybe if that's true they are letting out "leaked pictures" to draw hype and get peoples feedback. I may be wrong but I don't think apple would use cheap plastic on a budget iPhone. It only costs apple $250 to build an iPhone, if they want to produce a "budget" phone all they have to do is sell it to carriers for less.

I thought all iPhone models were "lite"?

In terms of mass, they are, but when it comes to buy the phone (sans subsidy) I think it's still heavy before this plastic model comes out.

Seems to contradict everything Apple has tried to become in the past decade or so. Apple has always preached quality builds, quality materials, and polished user experience. Apple has never done entry level like this, plastic looks cheap, and the user experience is "look at me and my green phone!" Then again, might be the first iPhone you won't actually need to get a case for.

I can't tell if the plastic is really that glossy or is it the protective plastic stickers that are making it seem that way.

I love that blue variant! If the specs are tolerable, I just may snatch one up. I love the rounder edges, such as the iPhone 3G. Feels more ergonomic in the hand; not so sharp. I don't mind the extra heft either. Looks good to me!

I think the colors are copied from Nokia and plastic from Samsung.

Since when does Nokia own colors? Since when did Samsung invent plastic?

40. zennacko unregistered

Um, ever since Apple invented the rectangle with round corners?
