Apple iPhone 8 to come in four colors including a reflective mirrored surface?
Consider this. Every day takes us one day closer to the unveiling of the Apple iPhone 8. The tenth anniversary model will be the first iPhone to feature an OLED panel, and the latest speculation has Apple launching the phone without Touch ID. Instead, Apple is expected to use a face recognition feature available from the front-facing camera. This is a technology that the top ranked Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, called revolutionary earlier this year.

Another new rumor has Apple offering the iPhone 8 in four different colors, one of which will be new. The information comes from a tweet disseminated by Benjamin Geskin, who created many of the iPhone 8 renders that we've passed along to you since the beginning of the year. A source told Geskin that the new color is a mirror-like reflective finish. To show an example of what this would look like, Geskin tweeted photos of mirrored iPhone 8 cases.
If Geskin's source is right, half of the current six color options for the Apple iPhone 7 and Apple iPhone 7 Plus will be disappearing with the iPhone 8. The six current colors include:

  • Jet Black
  • Black
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Rose Gold
  • Red
