Apple event now slated for January 27?

The media is at a buzz for Apple’s expected unveiling of a major new product with no loss in coverage any time soon. Sources from All Things Digital are now pointing to a target date of Wednesday, January 27 for Apple’s special event. It’s been speculated that the media event was going to be held towards the end of the month on the previous day – January 26. Instead, all of this would seemingly be taking precedence a day later on Wednesday at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco – a place where Apple often holds large media events. With all eyes set, it’s expected for Apple to really blow away the industry with the next big thing – hopefully it’ll be the iSlate in full form from what’s been rumored so far. With that date only weeks away, the anticipation is growing ever so steadily as the industry prepares itself again for another Apple announcement.
