Another celebrity tweets about their beloved Android handset using an iPhone

Next in the increasingly long line of famous people that speak high of their Android phone of choice only to be tweeting that very same message from an iPhone is the Bollywood star Anushka Sharma.

Tech influencer MKBHD noticed that while she, or whoever is maintaining her Twitter account, extolled the virtues of the Google Pixel 2 XL's camera prowess, the actual tweet came from an iPhone. The kicker is that it was sanctioned by Google India itself with the hash #TeamPixel.

The dogo in the picture is keeping it cool under portrait pressure, though, and we all know that the Pixel 2 XL takes amazing photos, plus the tweet got reuploaded without the iPhone mention, so no harm, no foul.

She can took the picture with her Pixel and shere it on twitter using her iPhone. What's the problem with that. Many of us has more then 2 phones. As a celebrity she can definitely afford few of them.

My thought was exactly...the photos could've been taken on a pixel and then shared to different devices which, in this case, is an iphone used to upload the photo.

You definitely didn't get the point. She's working for Google and Pixel, Of course she can't use iPhone in public. "nushka Sharma is flying high on the brand endorsement front. She has now been roped in by Google India for the 'Pixel 2' campaign. She is the newest member to #TeamPixel and is featured in this amazingly cute advertisement." It looks very bad what she did.

You know what is sad, is that Apple users and Apple enthusiastic people have to post stories like this. Yet although Apple started making iPhones in India last year. iPhones are shrinking in India to the point that Apple has a little more than 1% of the market share in india. Why don't you talk about that? Or do you want to talk about the US is going to be pushed into 3rd place this year by India. They are going to be #2 in the world and they keep on growing every year. Where as the US is saturated with smartphones.

I think this isn't the point. She is #TeamPixel but uses an iPhone to tell us that.

While that's true and makes sense it's just not in good taste to praise something you're not actually using at the moment. Especially if that same phone is capable of sending out a simple tweet. Makes the whole thing look fake especially coming from a celebrity or star.

Or she uses an agency/her agent to upload tweets and Instagram stuff. A lot of celebs don't manage their own social media.

In this case though she may not be at fault actually. Have seen many pics of her with Pixel 2 XL in hands overtime. And the pics themselves seem to have been shot with Pixel. Movie Stars usually have a team to handle their SM accounts and they may be using iPhones and what not. So a tweet from iPhone could be a result of that. But still looks bad on their part. Should be more careful in future. Gal Gadot's fiasco with Huawei was much worse. A repeat offender, never used huawei and when pointed out by MKBHD, resorted to blocking him on Twitter. LOL

"And the pics themselves SEEM to have been shot with Pixel" or could it be with iPhone?? because she uses iPhone to tweet. That's the point. It makes an ambiguous statement. If it is their assistant, then she needs to give the pixel to the assistant

Yeah, pretty sure most "stars" don't always tweet from their own personal phone anyway. So, there's that.... Seems like just another excuse to put Apple on a pedestal.

At the very least praise the phone while actually using Then you can switch to your iPhone or whatever.

Hell I've done that here lol. I've given my Galaxys props, while typing from an iPhone, and vice versa. I love both platforms, and use them regularly.
