Ambitious HTC plans on hitting new heights with their Q2 shipments
The dogs over at HTC have been let loose and now they're about to embark on some new heights they've never ventured to attempt before. Month after month, HTC's name is on top of the headlines as they undeniably keep on cranking out devices that are truly breathtaking and easily captures the gaze of people in the industry. Now they're expected to reach new heights for quarterly shipments as they stand to ship out close to 4.5 million handsets in Q2 2010. When comparing to past figures, they undoubtedly are ramping up production more than ever seeing that they shipped 3.3 to 3.5 million units in Q1 2010. As a whole, HTC was only able to ship out approximately 11 million units for the entire year of 2009 – so these latest figures point to some serious growth on HTC's part. With great successes they've been witnessed to of late, they have their fair share of battles right now as Apple is in the process of suing them for patent violations. Despite that, we're confident that HTC will continue to move forward as long as they manage to create even more innovative devices that are compelling.
