Amazon expands its T-Mobile offerings - now able to port numbers
Amazon is known to have some really good deals for anyone interested in purchasing a handset – not only do they offer instant rebates, they also have a decent lineup to choose from. T-Mobile is getting a deserved overhaul over at Amazon as the online web site announced today that it has expanded its offerings – specifically, customers can now sign up for a new plan and have their existing number ported over. There's probably numerous occasions when customers would get all excited about signing up for a plan and getting the perfect phone at a ridiculous price, but the lack of offering customers the option of porting a number can really dissuade people from going through with the purchase. Now that things are a bit more patched up for customers, Amazon has undoubtedly provided a new level of experience to its customers – not to mention some deals on phones that puts some in-store carrier pricing to shame. Paul Ryder, vice president of Consumer Electronics for Amazon, said “We’re working relentlessly to increase our selection of phones, service plans and options to meet our customers’ needs. Adding more T-Mobile service options is a big step in that direction, and we’re thrilled.” To even sweeten the expanded offering, Amazon is waiving the activation fees now until March 14 – so it's best to take advantage of these deals now.
