Amazon U.K. now offering the Microsoft Lumia 435

If you're looking for an entry-level handset in the U.K., you might want to consider the Microsoft Lumia 435, which is now available from Amazon. The single SIM version of the phone is priced to sell at the equivalent of $103. And Amazon is offering free delivery. While the device is currently powered by Windows Phone 8.1 and comes with the Lumia Denim update out of the box, it is expected to receive Windows 10 for Mobile since it does offer 1GB of RAM.

The rest of the specs include a 4-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 480 x 800. That works out to a pixel density of 233ppi. A dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 CPU is under the hood with the Adreno 302 GPU crunching graphics. 8GB of native storage is offered and in the likely event more memory is needed, there is a 128GB capacity microSD slot available. A 2MP fixed focus camera is on back, and a .3MP snapper can be found on the front of the handset. A 1560mAh battery keeps the lights on.

The Nokia Lumia 435 is also available in the U.K. from Unlocked Mobiles priced at the equivalent of $116. It will also be available next month from Carphone Warehouse. And we do expect this model to eventually make it over the Atlantic and touch down in the U.S.
