Amazon Appstore offering $110 worth of apps for free until Friday
The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.
Here's a great way for Android app users to start off the new year. The Amazon Appstore is offering $110 worth of apps for free until Friday, January 2nd. This promotion comes on top of a similar one that Amazon ran during Christmas. A mixture of 33 games and utilities are being given away. Some of the titles include Monopoly, Fruit Ninja, Kingdom Rush Frontiers, Angry Birds Star Wars II, Riptide GP2, AVG AntiVirus PRO Android Security, LYNE, JEFIT Pro, and Pho.to Lab PRO.
Of course, you need to have the Amazon Appstore loaded on your device in order to take advantage of the freebies. Those of you with the BlackBerry Passport and BlackBerry Classic have the Appstore pre-loaded on your phones right out of the box.
In addition to the free apps, Amazon has cut the prices of a number of games, like Final Fantasy IV. The latter has been reduced to $6.99 from $15.99. Additionally, some content from Cartoon Network has also been cut in price. For example, Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake has been sliced from $4.99 to just 99 cents.
