Pre-orders for the Samsung Gear S3 classic and frontier smartwatches will officially begin in the U.S. on November 6th. However, AT&T announced today that it will start accepting pre-orders for the Samsung Gear S3 frontier on November 4th. That is two full days before the timepiece can be ordered at other locations in the U.S.

The frontier is the first smartwatch with LTE connectivity offered by the carrier. It supports AT&T Numbersync. This allows you to use your primary AT&T phone number for calls and texts on your Gear S3 frontier, even if the phone that the number is connected to is turned off or is miles away. This happens to be an exclusive AT&T feature. It works with 20 Android handsets sold by the nation's second largest carrier. The timepiece will also work as a remote for DirecTV.

The Gear S3 carries a 1.3-inch Super AMOLED screen that enables an always-on display. Tizen 2.3 is pre-installed, and there is 4GB of internal storage.

There are two different ways to pre-order the watch. When purchased on AT&T Next, you can make 20 monthly payments of $17.50. Or, you can sign a two-year contract, purchase a new Samsung Galaxy handset on AT&T Next, and pay just $49.99 for the Samsung Gear S3 frontier.
