AT&T confirms Sony Tablet P release date will be March 4th
AT&T has confirmed that it’s getting the Sony Tablet P on March 4th for $399.99 when you sign a 2-year contract with the carrier.

After a long, long wait the dual-screen Tablet P is finally landing on AT&T. It features two 5.5-inch displays which unfold like a case for glasses. That’s what’s its unique selling point - the screens could be used together when viewing video (you just fully unfold the tablet), you can also them for gaming - one screen could serve as a display and the other could house the controls.

AT&T says the Sony Tablet P comes with 4G connectivity. But don’t be fooled into thinking that’s 4G LTE - Sony’s Tablet P only supports HSPA+ speeds.

Hardware-wise, the tablet sports a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, 6 gigs of internal storage and the standard connectivity suite of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Now, the catch with the $399 price is the two-year contract which will add a monthly payment of a minimum of $35. Off contract, the Sony Tablet P price stands at $549.99. You do the maths, and tell us would you buy the Tablet P and how.
