AT&T HTC One A9 receives its monthly security update
A tweet sent out by HTC's Product Management VP Mo Versi, reveals that AT&T subscribers rocking the HTC One A9 should receive their monthly security update from Google today. Build number 1.27.502.5 includes an improvement to the camera, in addition to the security update. North of the border, Canadian owners of the unlocked One A9 are receiving an update to version number 1.27.428.5.
The Canadian update weighs in at 244MB and also includes security patches. But this update brings with it improvements to battery life. Considering that the device brings a small 2150mAh battery to the party, any update that can extend the life of the juicer inside the phone has to be a welcome one. The update to the unlocked version of the One A9 in Canada also includes system enhancements for the mid-ranger.

While neither update is massive, we do suggest that you connect to a Wi-Fi network when updating your phone. You should also make sure that your battery is charged to at least 50%.
