A colorful LG V30 video teaser gets released ahead of August 31 announcement

With the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 upon us, LG continues to “spam” us with teasers that hint at what its V30 flagship might have to offer. Yesterday, the South Korean company released two short video teasers that take a jab at Samsung Galaxy Note 8's S-Pen features.

Today, another LG V30 video teaser got published online, but this one doesn't make fun of any competitors. The teaser is meant to raise the hype around the LG V30, which is expected to be officially introduced on August 31, one week after the Galaxy Note 8.

There's a high chance that the LG V30 will come alongside an enhanced V30+ model, which will pack 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory.

The LG V30 is expected to be priced at around $700, while the improved version is likely to carry a price tag of no less than $875. However, these numbers haven't been confirmed yet, so we'll have to wait until next week to learn more about prices and availability.

I mean who uses SPEN 99% of the time spent on the phone? That feature is overrated by Samsung users.

Most of the Samsung features are gimmicks, all these fan boys that claim they use the Spen are all bull s**tting. No one uses the Spen, the phone is way to tall or long, the rounded edges also a gimmick. LG should have never brought a pen to the phone.

I'm one of the majority who rarely uses the S-pen (ex-note 4 user), and I do get your point, but don't go out spewing retarded statements that the minority that use it are lying about using it just because you don't.

Do people ever have busy days where they need to memorize every little detail? There's plenty of occupational scenarios that make the S-Pen useful, anything to keep a hectic day in order.

They usually use it about 3 times as studies have shown. Once when they first receive it brand new to see how it works. Twice to check if it still works months later. Third time when they get really bored and rediscover they have it there... and see if it still works! The end.

At least that 700$ price tag for starter model seems to be cheaper than rumored 1,000$+ for Note8&Iphone8.

I wouldn't say cheaper, but more reasonable. Whatever more you're getting out of the Note or iPhone is NOT worth the extra money.

I've had both the Note 3 & Note 4 in the past and never actually used the S pen in either of them, I bought it for the larger screen. The Note 8 will be to tall for most & with same hardware inside as the S8 & rumoured smaller battery than the S8+ this will be a hard sell for Samung if the price is close $1000 or best part of £899 in the UK. :/

Well it seems to me that LG's marketing team is turning up the heat for the better this time around. I hope this is a sign of things to come.
