14 more retailers add Apple Pay support
On Tuesday, 14 more retailers added support for Apple Pay. The mobile payment service is now accepted by 61 merchants. One of the new names on the list is Coca-Cola Vending. This means that if you're hot and thirsty and dying for a Coke, you can purchase one even if you have no money in your pocket. There are 40,000 Coca-Cola vending machines in operation that are compatible with Apple Pay, and that number will hit 100,000 by the end of the year.
The new additions to the list include Bashas', Coca-Cola Vending, Dan's Fresh Market, Dick's Fresh Market, Fudruckers, Jamba Juice, Jersey Mike's, JetBlue, Lin's Fresh Market, Macy's, Office Max, Pep Boys, Regal Cinemas and Walt Disney World. The coming soon list now includes L.L. Bean. The latter gets added to a list of companies that will soon support Apple Pay such as Acme, Albertsons, Anthropologie, Free People and Urban Outfitters.
