$10 will allow you to turn your iPhone into a microscope

Just about anyone can pick up an eye iPhone and start snapping some good looking shots thanks to its easy to use nature and quality photo performance, but one person was able to take the handset's photo taking prowess to a new level. Instead of gracing the smartphone with something like an optical zoom, one owner was able to turn their trusty device into a portable microscope – that's able to take some extraordinary looking images.

Apparently it only requires a $10 investment which breaks down to $7 for a SE Mini 45X microscope and another $3 for the case that'll be attached to it. As you can tell from the video, the device is strapped onto the iPhone which can then be used on everyday items, including some fascinating specimens, that are magnified enough to show all of their intricate details.
