Good
Too many people think this is a bad phone. This was the first one i got, and it was great for why i needed it. Granted it doesn't have Bluetooth. The internet is good, it just takes a few seconds to load up. It is a good starter phone.

HORRIBLE
cingular replaced this phone for me 3 times. first ringer broke, then batterry, then started randomly shutting itself off. Just find a different phone, this one isnt a good choice at all.

after awhile this phone sucks
I had this phone for almost a year and the qualitys were good to begin with but now the speaker phone shuts itself off when it feels like it and disconnects for no apparent reason I've replaced it now 5 times and they are all the same now. I'm replacing this phone with another make and model at this time. I've been very unhappy with the performance of this phone.

awesome phone
I just barely got this phone today and it is great. The display is great same with the sound quality. One of my favorite parts of this phone is the menu design. Its cool and has cool graphics. In my opinion, samsung makes some of the best cell phones on the planet

The good and the bad
Bad the exterior display is hard to see. As other reviewes say, easy to accidentally flip to vibrate mode. The good have very large display telephone numbers, good is a simpler phone. Wish will have a feature to beep when there is a missed call or voice mail. (This was a feature in older cell phones which I find very useful) Excellent signal, excellent battery life, excellent in design and size, hard to turn speaker mode on and off. Average speaker quality sound.

thisfone is pretty good
this phone is pretty good but if u play with the volume it will freeze up and shut off by itself but i don't kno y any1 would want 2 play with it and the money value is pretty good 2. Like if your phone gets messed up and u want a new 1 it only cost 50.00

side volume selection
it appears too easy for the side volume to go from full volume to vibrate. There should be a way to disable the vibrate from the side buttons..........

Great Phone
I really love this phone. The sound is incredible havnt had any problems. The best phone for a good price. Would reccomend to anyone. Has great reception and wonderful speaker phone.

hey i like my phone except thet the sghx495 look better and when i try to download game i cant because my phone cant support them and that makes me mad but other thyan that its an excellent

Great improvement over the X427 which it replaces
Got the phone 2 weeks ago and love it. Volume rocker on the side of the phone is a huge improvement, it also doubles as external display viewing plus instant phone silencing. The sound quality is excellent. Much improved from its replacement the X427. And the speakerphone option is more welcomed to me than having a camera. Excellent addition to the Cingular phone lineup.
