Excellent 9.2

Well worth the money

this is a great phone . the only bad thing is that it is a little bulky. the camera is nice, you canchange the kinds of pictures you want like black and white, solarized, negative. probably one of the best phones i have ever purchased.

Good phone

While I noticed that several of the reviews are negative for this phone, I have not had any problems with it. I use a 1 gig microSD card to store my music files without any difficulties. I am able to use MP3 files without conversion to WMA. Playback through the external speakers is clear and the volume can be adjusted to a surprising range given the size of the speakers. My reception has never been a problem and is superior to previous models that I have used. The only drawbacks that I found are that MP3s cannot be set as ringtones and the bluetooth capabilities are limited to use of a headset, but these limitations are imposed by the software, not the handset. An improvement that would have been nice is to have the USB cover connected to the handset as I lost it fairly quickly.

Terrible 1

HATE THIS PHONE!!!!!

Hate cant even begin to discribe this phone...i never have service the mp3 player doesnt work when I try to put music on it from a cd it deletes the songs...now what is the point of having an mp3 player on the phone if you cannt use it! Someone please tell me!!!

dont listen to all these other morons this phone is a worthless hunk of plastic. I put a 1 gig sd card in it and it cant even handle that big of a card. il save pics to it and it will loose like half the picture leaving me with a worthless file and lost memories the signal strength is about as good as using your home cordless phone at your freinds house down the street. i would rather use one of those giant cancer ridden brick phones than this big ugly piece of crap.

u get this phone and it will be your waking life!

the a950 is for verizon, that is the downside. But however if u own this phone and can't get every single feature to work ur not surffing the net as hard as u need to cause, i have a working mp3 player. i have converted movies from my pc to play on my phone by saving them to the transflash card. Also i have activated my Dun setting which if u have mobile web then u can surf the net on your pc or laptop via xpservice pack 2, and a usb data cable, with the phones drivers installed. And for a flip phone it is more sturdy due to the wider hinges. All and all the a950 affordable, more sturdy, and dose everything accept makes peace in the middle east.

BEST PHONE!!

This phone is AMAZING! the speakers are the bESTTTT! i love it i love it i love it!!its not the best phone but its right under it! i wanted to get the LG CHOCOLATE that came out yesterday for Verizon but I GOT THIS PHONE FOR FREE FROM MY BEST FRIEND THAT GOT THE CHOCOLATE AND ITS STILL PRETTY DAM GOOD! THE SPEAKERS JUST BLEW ME AWAY EVEN THE CHOCOLATE CANT BE AS THIS, 2 STERIO SOUND SPEAKERS , IT IZ JUST BRILLIANT!! GO BUY ONE NOWW

i love this phone i love the mp3 player and the only thing that i dont like is the fact that it doesnt have alot of ringtones but i have discovered a way to make my own ringtones
i would recomend it

This Phone is great.. I've read about it everywhere. I love the mp3 player the best. The phone i have now has nothing compared to this. this phone has speaker phone, flash, and a camcorder how cool is that

A disappointing phone, check out LG

I bought a lemon that couldn't send or receive photos or video, and soon couldn't make intelligible phone calls, so I had to return it for a new one. This one works but the sound isn't great, kind of metallic and too treble, much worse than the warmth of my old but fading LG 6000 for example...The phone only comes with four rings...I'm used to LG giving you a choice of 30 or 40 different rings and chimes on its phone. The cam and video aren't so hot, considering that it's a 1.3 megapixel cam...One problem is that if the file has too many pixels in it, you can't send it, even to your e-mail...Also, its featured soak up battery juice, so I had to go out and by a big fat extender battery ($60) just to ensure I wouldn't get stuck high and dry...LG sends a recharger with its extended battery; Samsung doesn't. Still, as a two-year renewer plus its rebate, I was able to get the phone for $49, and that's a bargain...H

This phone is great for Verizon customers who need a great,edgy cell with all the features. I would definitely recommend this phone to all users! Go out and buy it, NOW!
