ZTE Nubia Z9 to be announced on March 26
We were expecting ZTE to announce its rumored Nubia Z9 at MWC 2015, but that didn't happen. However, the new handset will be officially unveiled later this month after all.

ZTE is now confirming that it's going to host a press event on March 26, when a "stunning" new Nubia smartphone will be showcased. The invitation to the event clearly suggests that this smartphone will be the Z9, though it doesn't confirm anything regarding the handset's design or features.

Previously, we heard that the Nubia Z9 could be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, while sporting a display of around 5.5 inches. Since the Nubia Z7 already has a Quad HD display, the Z9 might also offer a screen with this resolution (1440 x 2560 pixels).

Not long ago, we saw a few photos that allegedly show the Z9 (they're included in the slideshow below), though for now we can't confirm their authenticity. As always when it comes to Nubia smartphones, the Z9 will most likely be launched in China first, but it might also reach international markets. We'll let you know more about the Nubia Z9 as soon as ZTE announces it.
