Samsung’s new Windows Phone packing a quad-core Snapdragon CPU and Adreno 305 GPU
Codenamed “Huron,” this new device had some specifications come across GFXBench. The one thing that may stick out like a sore thumb is a listed screen resolution of 1280 x 720. Pay that no heed as other HD devices on the site show the same resolution (such as the Lumia 1520).
What is revealing is the quad-core CPU and Adreno 305 GPU. For those that are into the intense graphics specifications, that may seem a bit on the light side. However, Windows Phone as an operating system has proven that is can work pretty well even with the most meager of modern specs.
Meanwhile, the scores off GFXBench show this Samsung can handle the content at a respectable frame rate. That means we should be able to enjoy plenty of media on the purported 5-inch 1080p screen on hardware that looks a bit like a Samsung Galaxy S.

If they share the same screen size then possibly. They seem to be using the same MSM8x28 SD400 processor.

I'm tired of samsung insulting windows by building lame phones. They should stick to building window tablets and laptops with 8.1 unless they can build a quality phone that relates to any android design they already have.

STFU! I have Samsung ATIV S. Its very stylish and awesome phone. Yes, its made of plastic, but I dont have any issues with build quality.

Stylish? I think you must be blind.
No issue with build quality? Drop it and have a break!
Awesome? Like normal camera and Samsung "exclusive" app?

Bulky colourful bricks more stylish than thin and light gray phone? I dont think so. I have dropped my phone 5-6 times and its in perfect condition. Normal camera is more than enough for me, for special events I use my DSLR. I dont need storyteller or other crap. If I needed Nokia apps, I would buy Lumia. These Nokia fanboys are worse than Apple fanboys -_-

This is the reason SS won't do well on WP. Make mediocre phones and no one will buy. How hard would it be to bring an s800 phone with a 1080p screen?

Well, that's basically what Nokia had been doing before the Lumia 1520 right? It was the first Lumia ever to have "flagship specs".

Who would buy a high spec Samsung WP phone? WP fans only buy Nokia in fact with good reason due to Nokia exclusive apps such as Nokia HERE Map.
If I were to buy WP is Nokia all the way.
