Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich, video reveals

The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is already available in the U.K. and Germany for as little as $363 unlocked, making it a decent, budget-friendly offering. In terms of specs, the smartphone comes with a dual-core processor clocked at 800MHz, 3.8-inch WVGA display, 5-megapixel auto-focus camera, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread comes pre-installed. However, it turns out that the smartphone will not be stuck with Gingerbread forever. In fact, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich, as stated in the official promotional video embedded below.
That is definitely good news for everyone considering getting one of these for even though the Galaxy Ace 2 is just a mid-range handset, it will be served the latest Android version released to date. Furthermore, this potentially means that the Samsung Galaxy S Advance will get an Android 4.0 update as well since it is pretty similar to the Ace 2 in terms of hardware.
Unfortunately, no details have been given as to when the said Galaxy Ace 2 Ice Cream Sandwich update will be released, and we know that these often take time. Nevertheless, we will be keeping our fingers crossed for all owners out there.

There won't be any ICS for W or mini 2, they are worse phones than the S plus and that one is offically not getting ICS.
R on the other hand is a dual core and is in the list pretty much since day one, so it will get it eventually.
But I'm quite happy to know that ace 2 will get it, I had my doubts about that one and wanted to recommend it to a friend.
