Rugged version of Samsung Galaxy S4 gets updated to Android 4.3 on AT&T
The update weighs in at a gut-busting 772MB (like the show on TLC, My 700MB Life). Some who have already upgraded their device have found that it runs smoother (no surprise there) and eliminates double tapping on the QWERTY. The update does bring support for the Samsung Galaxy Gear and adds the ability to 'drag and drop' to uninstall an app you no longer want. Also included are some apps courtesy of AT&T including Kindle, Lookout, City ID, Password Keeper, Games and AT&T Mobile Protection.
Considering the size of the download, we suggest having a Wi-Fi connection in place when you download it, and we also would recommend having your battery at least halfway charged.

Huh, looks like Samsung is staying "Active" with this Galaxy...

Does this update suck as badly as the Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 update for Verizon? Besides resetting a lot of the phone's settings and adding extra bloatware, it seems that the browser now has some stability issues as well. Also yesterday i read a news here http://www.smartphonesupdates.
com/samsung-galaxy-note-3-android-4-4-kitkat-update-starts-rolling-out/Samsung Galaxy Note 3 users can expect to see the Android 4.4 KitKat OS update arrive on their handsets in the very near future.
