Neither Bell Canada nor Telus will carry the Lumia 920, Rogers may be exclusive
TELUS was arguably a little cryptic, stating that “The Nokia 920 is not part of the list of phones coming to TELUS by the end of the year.” That could mean that a Nokia Windows Phone 8 will find a place in their stable next year. The Nokia Lumia 800 and Lumia 610 have been part of their line-up, so hopefully a relationship will remain between the carrier and the Finnish manufacturer.
Samsung ATIV S and one of the HTC 8 devices.
That leaves Rogers, and Canada’s largest carrier has not yet announced if the new Lumias will be offered. Since they do sell the Lumia 900, one would hope that the 920 will follow later this year.
If any of our Canadian readers get any tips about the new Nokia Lumias being offered by the carriers there, let us know!

the idea exclusive carrier thing is the stupidest thing i ever heard there is a high chance here in australia that i'm not getting a lumia 920 because it's gonna be exclusive to optus not vodafone i hate elop and his stupid plans

If Rogers is getting an exclusive in Canada, that could mean AT&T exclusivity here in the states.

And so the lumia 920 will be a flop in Canada...

If you get a Windows Phone, can you remove the live tiles or are you forced to use them?

Thanks satan...lol. So Windows Phone is gonna be a fail regardless of carrier and OEM then. K...Gonna stick to my beloved Android. I'm thinking that since its such a beautiful day out today, I'm gonna go for a drive and maybe get a little lost. No wait...I'm gonna go to an apple store and do some zombie watching - cause its got to be way more entertaining watching a bunch of zombies who are lost when entering and leaving their ichurch.
Curious as to how many of them are still using the phrase, "Cause it just works".

I meant to say even more lost leaving their ichurch.

mate terrible android fanboy arent you
first stating wp8 will fail due to the live tiles is stupid
and second rambling on about apple when its not even brought up in the previous comment and your not making any valid point so theres no need
you make fun of apple fanboys yet your just the same but in a different camp

1- No comment on your first sentence as it is gibberish.
2- Maybe in your opinion it was stupid. I prefer choices as many others do. Maybe I should have just focused on previous sales records instead? Maybe you belong with the herd(s) that wait in line?
3- Yes there was a point to it...please refer to the 2nd sentence in the 2nd comment of mine above. You may be able to relate to the 3rd sentence of said comment above depending on what side of the trough you feed from.
4- I stand behind my choice of platform yes, and for many different reasons...although I don't need to stand in line to do so. A simple catch phrase like 'it just works' isn't enough to describe the potential of a current Android phone. Then again...I guess it will be a little while before iProduct users start using that phrase again eh?

mate get over yourself seriously you like those ifans you pick out
your original comment is stupid, its a article on the lumia and you first bring up your ''beloved android'' then ramble about apple and why? just makes you sound like a unhappy little fan boy
nobody asked you to change you choice or even questioned your choice so why you bring it up is beyond me
and again you finish with bringing up apple's products.......are you obsessed with them or something

A very short sighted stance these two companies will quickly regret. The 920 is the best windows 8 phone on the planet.

That exclusive s**t really pisses me off. f**k you Nokia! Qq

Shouldn't you be cursing your carrier too? I hope you don't have sprint as I'm sure they won't pay up to get good phones on their slow network. They are sinking money in their LTE coverage

At least Rogers is going to 'try' selling them. Not exactly Nokia's fault...well...except for choosing to go exclusively with WP maybe.

FYI, it is the carriers who decides what phones they will carry, not Nokia trust me they would sell to anyone if they could, the exclusive carrier thing is what they demand, again not Nokia.

This isn't really accurate. Carriers pay for exclusivity, not the other way around.
In this case Rogers paid a fee (likely not very much), to be the exclusive carrier of the Lumai 900 to try and drive a few customers over to them. It appears they will do the same with the 920. Nokia could pass on this fee and offer the phone to all carriers, like Apple and Samsung do, but it appears they will continue to be shortsighted and take a small upfront payday rather than try to expand their brand.

Bell didn't have Lumia 800/900 either (as well as any other No
My wife stayed with Bell for 7 years until 1 day when she received a bill for about $300 and then another month for $200. The expanation was that her contract came to the end and they switched her to a new terms without notification. Since then Bell doesn't exist for me. I am with Rogers now and they defenetely have the best phones to choose from.
I'm very excited about Nokia Lumia 920.
