Model previously thought to be Galaxy Nexus II turns out to be the Galaxy Premier
The Samsung Galaxy Premier is set to become an upper-mid-range smartphone equipped with a sizable 4.65" HD screen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8MP main camera and a 2MP front-facing one. Software-wise, the Premier should arrive with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
This handsets seems to position itself slightly below the Galaxy S III in terms of specs, although judging by the leaked image, its design does seem to be a bit more polished. The phone is rumored to come with a price tag of about $620 (EUR 480). The launch should take place by the end of the year.

eehh no. The US SGS3 comes with an underpowered crap Krait chip.
Hopefully its an exynos 4212 or A15.
I dont know how its "under the SGS3" in specs unless its a lesser processor or less ram, it sounds very similar in specs. Hopefully it comes with the newer RGB HD display.

Wait, now the Krait is underpowered crap? I thought it was pretty damn good. Just because it's not THE fastest on the market doesn't make it crap.
I don't understand this notion that anything that's not Samsung is utter crap. Why is everyone so convinced that a Galaxy Nexus 2 would be that much better than an S4 Pro-powered LG Nexus? The GNex was great because it was a Nexus, not because it was a Samsung.

Specs close to US GS3, but with a slightly smaller screen. I think this could sell pretty well, most everyone agrees 4.8" is really pushing it for screen size and 4.65" is closer to the sweet spot for the majority. Just wish they cut the bezels and overall size down compared to GS3, but I do like the larger home button.

if u c in the picture, s3 which is AMOLED have more saturated colour, while premier is like super clear LCD or something like that.

Some samsung phones with OLED screens have color preset options to decrease saturation and galaxy premier in that picture is blurred so you can't make a comparison with that

seems like a pretty good mid-range device. let's hope the dual core is either s4 or using A15 architecture

Why would they put a next-gen chip that would smoke their entire lineup in a mid-range device first?

I'll be getting it I like the way it looks better than the GS3 (in my view) and it has basiclly the same specs, so it all depends on which you thinks looks better and for me it will be the premier. Sorry to all you GS3 die-hard fans
