Another AT&T Sunday: HTC One X cut in price to $99.99, red Samsung Galaxy S III available online

On Friday, a rumor started spreading from XDA Developers forum that AT&T would be giving the HTC One X a haircut to $99.99. That is a hefty $100 discount for the flagship HTC Android device and requires a signed 2-year contract. The device is considered right up there with the Samsung Galaxy S III at the top of the Android food chain, so cutting the price is going to make the HTC One X even more competitive, especially among those who have no allegiance to either model.

And there is now another reason for AT&T to cut the price of the HTC One X. It is the Garnet Red version of the Samsung Galaxy S III available exclusively from the carrier. Was it a consolidation prize for all of those AT&T customers who can't order the 32GB model of the handset? Nonetheless, the sizzling hot handset looks, well, sizzling hot in red as you can see. The latter is available online only. The price remains the same at $199.99 with a signed 2-year pact.
