Huawei M660 spotted in the wild, bound for Cricket
Thanks to a loyal reader of ours, we have photos of the yet-unannounced Huawei M660. This smartphone was initially expected to launch on MetroPCS, yet now it becomes apparent that Cricket Wireless is where it is headed.

We are looking at an Android 2.3 Gingerbread device that likely won't impress anyone with its specs sheet, yet users who prefer the comfort of a portrait QWERTY keyboard might be interested. In terms of hardware, the touchscreen display measures 3.2 inches in diagonal, a camera of some kind is present on the back, and the smartphone's storage capacity can be expanded using a microSD card. That last detail was noted in the Huawei M660 user manual, which is now available on the maker's web site. Another thing that the document reveals is that the smartphone might be actually called the Huawei Ascend Q, but we will have to wait and see whether that is correct or not. Further hardware specs remain unclear at this time.

So there you have it, folks! Another Android smartphone is headed to Cricket Wireless, and we are expecting to hear an official announcement pretty soon. Is anyone interested in getting one?

Thanks for sending this in!
