Huawei M660 portrait QWERTY Android seems like it's bound for MetroPCS
Over at the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, the Huawei M660 recently made an appearance where it received its Bluetooth certification. And from the looks of it all, it’s aimed to hit prepaid wireless carrier MetroPCS in the future.

Now that it has gained its Bluetooth certification, it’s only a matter of time before it is actually launched. As you can tell in the photo of the smartphone in question, the Huawei M660 is a portrait QWERTY Android smartphone, which is still a form factor that’s rarely sought out by Android smartphones in general.

Aside from the obvious physical keyboard that it’s packing, it’ll feature a 3.2” touchscreen, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, support for CDMA2000 on the 800/1700/1900MHz bands, and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. Although the listing doesn’t explicitly mention MetroPCS as the carrier of choice, it’s most certainly the case scenario based on the available information.

Frankly, it probably won’t come to the lineup bearing the Huawei M660 name, but rather, it’ll more than likely sport some other inspiring name. Finally, in terms of pricing, it should obviously be somewhat easy on the pockets – much like most of the selection on MetroPCS’ lineup.
