HTC sending out invitations for a February 26 event, on the cusp of Mobile World Congress 2012

Now the synchronized rumor across the tech blogosphere is that HTC will try to steal the show spotlight with the unveiling of its first quad-core handset(s), which was also mentioned by a JPMorgan analyst not long ago.
Of course, besides the Tegra 3 HTC Endeavor, we are also expecting an eventual HTC Ville with Snapdragon S4 and LTE, as well as a Windows Phone-powered HTC Radiant, so we'd be there to follow the festivities and relay to you anything grand and small that HTC has to unveil come February 26.

I hope 2012 is a good year for HTC, just like how 2011 was for Samsung and 2010 for Apple.

No worries a quad core iPad should be just around the corner and available before any of the phones announced during MWC

Apple will release a quad core iphone towards the end of the year or maybe next year. Apple will claims it as a massive achievement by them and a worlds first to which ifans will cry tears of joy for 6 days. On the 7th day they will buy the phone and it will change everything again again and maybe not again!!!

Htc need to up their game this year,they kinda rested on their laurels last year after having a good 2010 and released phone after phone which were generally very similar and innovation seemed to have slowed with them. Samsung on the other hand took a big leap ahead of them with the s2 etc. Here's hoping htc innovate in 2012!!
