HTC RE camera will cost only $99 this week-end

If you were thinking about buying HTC’s unusual RE camera, but weren't ready to shed $200 for it, you’ll have the chance to get one for half the price this week-end. Starting Friday, November 28, and throughout Monday, December 1, HTC will sell the RE camera for just $99 - only in the US. Obviously, this is part of HTC’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.

You’ll be able to buy the RE camera for $99 not just from HTC, but also from Best Buy, AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon - plenty of locations nationwide.

As you’ll see in our HTC RE camera review, we liked some of the features that the device is offering, but we found that its price is too high. In case you didn’t know, the camera does not have a viewfinder, instead letting you comfortably hold it with one hand and shoot images (and video) from pretty much any angle. You can even submerge it in water (up to 1 meter) thanks to its IPX7 certification.
