Galaxy Note 7 price tipped to start at €849 ($938) in Europe

Given the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge rampant sales success, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated handsets for the second half of the year. Samsung is reportedly planning to go the S7 edge route, and release the Note 7 with a display that is slightly curved to the sides only, nothing with a flat screen, which will make the Note 7 narrower and thus eventually more comfortable to hold.

As for the under-the-hood improvements, we don't expect much change from the S7/edge duo, except maybe 6 GB of RAM, or a slightly overclocked chipset in the purported Snapdragon 821 version, as well as a larger battery to back them all up. The venerable S Pen should also be taught some new tricks, but how much would all these niceties of the Note 7 eventually cost in the end? 

Well, rumor has it that it will start from EUR 849 ($938) over on the Old Continent, which is EUR 50 more than the S7 edge commanded there at launch, and will probably translate to a tag that is north of $800 in the US as well. Not that we expected the Note 7 to be anything less than that, curved screen and all, but still, the retail pricing won't be for the faint of heart, it seems, at least for the early adopters.
