Asus teases us with the Eee Pad Transformer 2 in this video
Check out this teaser video, albeit a very brief and ultimately unsatisfying tease, of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer 2 tablet that is rumored to be arriving sometime during the holiday season, possibly November 7.

The video itself doesn’t actually mention the tablet being the Eee Pad Transformer 2 but does refer to it as the next transformation. From the few shots that you can see of the Android Honeycomb device it appears as though it may be much thinner than its predecessor. Of course Asus wouldn’t even call it the Transformer if it didn’t have that keyboard dock that impressed when it launched with the original.

At this time there isn’t too much info on the Eee Pad Transformer 2. It is possible that it will be powered by a quad-core processor known as the Kal-El from Nvidia. It is probably safe to expect a 10.1-inch display, but without any hard evidence there is no sense at trying to peg the specifications of what is still an unknown device for the most part. Keep your eyes peeled for when we learn more about the Asus Eee Pad Transformer 2.

Hey I pay my mortgage & bills, I put food on the table for me, my wife & kids. I also save money so it's ok to treat myself with gadgets. It's better than going out & getting hammered at a bar/club with my friends. Don't get me wrong we go out but not like we did! Also I rather spend my money on something tangible then to drink my money away! So there is a fine line & to be honest I rather be up to date on my gadgets anyways. You should see my man/game cave. It's a techie's dream! Let’s just put it to you this way, my walls are sound insulated & there is a bar. It’s my work in progress master piece! All my boys love to come over & watch the game or just hang out when ever. I think I am going to charge them a cover charge! lol

I kinda would prefer getting hammered at a bar with my friends, while losing my cell phone creating an excuse to buy a newer one, every friday, while not providing food for my wife/kids. But I don't make enough money to do any of that... :(

btw I wanna see your man cave!

Sorry for random reply, I was just dreaming...

lol Those were the days! lol

When I didn't have the responsibility I have now, to be able to show up at any time, to do the walk of shame on a Friday morning with the chick you brought home on Thursday night & so on......

Don't get me wrong I am by no means old, I am only 32 but from age 18 to about 29 I had some crazy escapades. You don't even know! lol

Ohh & about my man/game cave it's been my project for about close to 4 years now. I have thought of almost everything.

If this uses the nvidia kal-el quad core processor, I think this will be a pretty successful tablet being the first quad core that I know of, kudos to asus, now wheres that quad-core phone at??

This one is sick but as I've said before, dual-cores aren't even fully optimized yet, so quad-cores are somewhat non-sense right now.

You know Android Ice Cream Sandwich is optimized for multi-core processors. You know the first thing Asus will do is add ICS via update to the worlds 1st quad-core tablet. This is a PERFECT match! Bring on the quad-core tablets please!

Thanks for clearing that up, his opinion is probably only shared with himself... I mean, who doesn't want quad-core tablets/phones??

I know what you mean. Imagine what could be done with a quad-core tablet NOW. Now imagine when ICS is thrown in to the mix. All I can say is WOW!
