Based on its price, I think this phone's features and specifications give cell phone users what they want. It's a 3G phone, which has secondary camera, It has 3.15 megapixel camera. But this is a Walkman phone anyway, so just drop the camera capability. It sounds quality is pretty good, the battery life quality is fair enough.
Based on its price, I think this phone's features and specifications give cell phone users what they want. It's a 3G phone, which has secondary camera, (unlike the maybe expensive Vivas hehe). It has 3.15 megapixels camera (w/o autofocus unfortunately). It can only perform zoom, when the resolution is at VGA quality. So when you use bigger resolution than VGA, the zoom feature is useless and there is also no flash feature. But this is a walkman phone anyway, so just drop the camera capability. It sounds quality is pretty good, w/o the headset it produces quite clear sounds but not loud enough, I think the sound quality is quite similar to Nokia N85 or even better. I used that phone before SE W508. When you plugged in the headset, I must say it is disappointing. The sound quality produced by using headset is not what I expected from a walkman phone. It is mainly produces bass sound, less treble, and sometimes you will hear the music is louder than the singer sound. Maybe it is just because the headset quality ^^'.Yes it doesn't support 3.5 mm jack, but the headset is actually has a connector. W/o the connector W508 headset itself is 3.5 mm. So if you wanted to change your headset to the 3.5 mm jack it should not have been a problem at all. Other specs are, maps, sense me, radio, accuweather, facebook, walkmate, youtube. The battery life quality is fair enough, if you use it for listening to 15-20 songs, text-messaging for an hour, phoning for half an hour, you can recharge the battery again after 1 and a half - 2 days. Keypads are thumbs-friendly for text messaging, it's not hard but also not too soft. I recommend you to buy SE C510 instead of this phone. The price different is not that far, and I do believe that SE C510 will provide you a far more quality camera feature and the same sound quality with or w/o headset or maybe even better.
