The Huawei M228 is touted as having superior battery life to most other cell phones available, and having owned one for about 4 months, I must say I find this to be true.  It is completely reliable for getting online, as well, and I have had no problems at all with it.It is not a "status symbol" phone, but rather a utilitarian workhorse, and with the mail-in rebate it came with, the cost of it was about $25!
